How do baby birds survive to adulthood?
Baby birds are so cute and they look as if they have an easy life. But in reality, it can be a bit tricky! Learning to fly in ONE day is like learning to swim in ONE HOUR! Baby birds must have A LOT of trouble, so here is some information.
Nearly all baby birds are without covering and blind when they come out of the egg. They are called hatchlings. Their parents must keep them warm and feed them roughly every 15 minutes during the day. Most young birds ask for food by opening their beaks and chirping. This is called gaping or food begging. The parents put food into the babies mouths. Every type of bird eats different foods. Some eat bugs, some eat berries, and some eat seeds when they’re older. The adults know just what to feed the babies.Soon their eyes open and feathers start to grow, and then the babies are called nestlings. The new feathers are called blood quills or pin feathers. These new feathers look like shiny blue tubes. The birds tails are just starting to grow, and are less than 1/2 inch long.
Birds that are two weeks old are called fledglings. They have grown so fast that now they have feathers, and a tail that's 1/2 inch long. 

The birds are inquisitive and want to discover the world. They leave the nest even though they can’t fly or eat on their own. The beginner birds hop on the ground and call to their parents to be fed. It will take the little birds a few days to be able to fly up to unelevated branches. It will take two weeks for them to learn to feed themselves. The parents show the young ones how to find food and what to eat. The adult birds make loud noises to warn the fledglings when danger is close-at-hand.After two more weeks, the babies are as big as adults and can fly well. They have long tails and are called juveniles. Some will still plead with their parents for food, even though they can eat on their own! Soon the parent birds get ready for their next group of babies. Most birds can only have families in the spring and summer, and will have 2-3 nests of young during this time of year.

So from the facts that we have found out, baby birds seem to live a simple life, but they don’t. They lead very complicating lives. But by the time they're adults, they have become mature and responsible. They’re definitely not babies anymore.

Eggs of an sea turtle is a size of a small ping pong ball. the mother goes to the top of the beach and lays the eggs the mother lay 1000 eggs a year the mother lays 50 - 200 eggs in one spot	An adult sea turtles climbs up a beach to lay 1000 eggs.  First she digs a hole, so that she can lay the eggs in it. Then the eggs hatch and try to make it to the water but sadly only 400 make it to the water. Tessellation is a pattern that is joined by the same shape to create a tessellation. Tessellations are usually the same colours, like red, orange and white. It could be a tree shape, or even flowers. Then all you have to do to make a tessellation is to join them.

Name and describe the main character in your story.

The main character in this story is Tom Gates so I'm going to describe him now. He loves having fun and messing up the house, he also makes sure everything goes his way... Or else. He is my favourite character!!

Card One. School Bus Surprisingly, I hate going to school without my Mum. She’s always there at the end of school, when she’s there it always brings a smile to my face she brings a lovely sent of perfume. Card One. School Bus. I never knew how much I missed my school as soon as I got home.

Card Two. Rock Climbing. I can just hear and feel the rocks falling one by one each time I move my foot or body. The scary part is that I think I’m going to fall but I have a rope which has people holding onto it at the bottom.

Card Three. Desert. I’m afraid about that the pyramids will fall on top of me. They do look like they are going to fall, better stay away or I’ll be dead.

              How i feel about camp,

Well, I feel kinda sad and kinda happy at the same time, I just cant figure it out. My mum says it will be good for me and ill learn a lot there. But I just think I will be scary being away from my parents, I've never been a night without them in New Zealend before, so I hope I can make a night without them. Mum says she will miss me, but she always says that, Brie says I will be ok if I cry, because she will cheer me up, which when she said that, I made me feel 100 times better. I think I will be ok with all my friends there with me, and I'm sharing a cabin with one of my best friends so I think it will be really fun. I'm looking foward to spotlight in the dark and being with my friends. I'm also exicted to make new friends with RM22, I don't know everyone there, so i think that's a good way of making friends. As soon as i heard about camp, I begged my mum to let me stay at home, but of course it didnt work.

I'm going to bring my "Cuddle Buddie". And my teddy I had for a long time. We have to bring, Scroggins, Bictuts and board games on our last week before camp. Now I'm with all my friends I think I'm exicted for camp! :)

                    HOW IS IT MATHS?
 Fireboy and watergirl game on cool maths games is maths for a lot of reasons, one is that working with team members and trust them. Also work more on what you want to be when your older.

            HOW TO CONTROL PLAYERS
To control fireboy you use the arrows at the bottom right of your device, if you want to move foward you simply press the arrow pointing right. And to jump you use the arrow pointing up.
To control watergirl is A.W.D. Press A to go backwards, press W to jump, press D to go fowards.

                           

Camp rules.

Here are some camp rules you should follow.
1. No running at night.
2. Go to bed/sleep when told.
3. Eat what you are given.
4. Be kind and respect others.
5. Treat others the way you want to be treated.
6.Say nice things about Miss Mcnaes outfut every morning :)
7. Don't make a fuss about something that you don't want to do.
8. Just be kind! :)
