Reading Activity-Tom Gates.

Name and describe the main character in your story.

The main character in this story is Tom Gates so I'm going to describe him now. He loves having fun and messing up the house, he also makes sure everything goes his way... Or else. He is my favourite character!!

Jasmine's Brainstorming Cards.

Card One. SCHOOL BUS. I can smell - the lovely perfume she was wearing. I can see - A big tree and a big yellow bus. I can taste - The wind blowing into my mouth. I can feel - My mum hugging me. I can hear - The birds tweeting in my ear.

Card two. ROCK CLIMBING. I can smell - The dusty rocks. I can see - A huge rock that I’m afraid to go on top of. I can taste - All the fresh air blowing in my face. I can feel - All the rocks cutting my hands. I can hear - The rocks falling one by one behind me.

Card Three. DESERT. I can smell - The sand going up my nose. I can see - All the pyramids. I can taste - The dust off the pyramids. I can feel - All the sand blowing into my hand. I can hear - All the sand blowing around.

Card One. School Bus Surprisingly, I hate going to school without my Mum. She’s always there at the end of school, when she’s there it always brings a smile to my face she brings a lovely sent of perfume. Card One. School Bus. I never knew how much I missed my school as soon as I got home.

Card Two. Rock Climbing. I can just hear and feel the rocks falling one by one each time I move my foot or body. The scary part is that I think I’m going to fall but I have a rope which has people holding onto it at the bottom.

Card Three. Desert. I’m afraid about that the pyramids will fall on top of me. They do look like they are going to fall, better stay away or I’ll be dead.
